This program has a built-in checksum calculator that I use for FORScan: http://compulsivecode.com/Project_AsBuiltCompare.aspx

But if you want to do it manually, here's how:
Example1: 7D0-01-01 2A2A 0502 2054
07+D0+01+01+2A+2A+05+02+20=154 (If the checksum is higher than two digits, only last two digits are the result hence 154 becoming 54)

Example2: 726-02-02 0001 0164 0097
07+26+02+02+00+01+01+64+00=97

Last 2 digits are checksum
I wasn't sure how the math worked. I was assuming the formula only included the last three sets of numbers ie. 2A2A+0502=2054. What brought this on is noticing that my asbuilt has a different result with the same set of numbers as the current. They both can't be right. But my asbuilt should be. ??? I can't use the calculator because it won't work with XP Pro which is the highest windows version that I have in my parallels app on my mac. I get a "not valid win32 application" error. I am going to set it to the correct value. I needed to confirm what the true is before setting to the asbuilt. But as you can see from the screen shot the value at that address is incorrect. It may be the reason that I see multiple selections on the screen when starting the vehicle.

The value I'm seeing on your screenshot is 7D0-01-01 2A2A 0502 2054 which would be Heated Steering Wheel disabled on the climate screen. If you want Heated Steering Wheel enabled it should be 7D0-01-01 2A2A 0502 2458 which on my Sync 3 would only show it in the Climate screen, not on the home screen unless I also enable the heated and/or cooled seats buttons for the home screen.

Edit: As far as asking what your as-built should be...what value does the Motorcraft site show for your VIN at 7D0-01-01?

Value should be 2A2A 0502 2054 (now currently set) It was 2A2A 0502 2256 (as shown in the screen shot) (that is not even a value listed in the APIM according to your google doc, but yet was set when I used the enable button via APIM) I actually don't want it enabled since I don't have the hardware for it. My ultimate goal is to have double honk disabled, which it is. And return my startup screen to whatever source I was listening to at start up, when I turned off the vehicle last. What I used to get when I started up and what I get now (the multiple selection screen).

After a couple engine restarts and resetting my iphone I am now getting the screen that I want at start up. No more multiple selection screen. I suppose that is really called the home screen.

Glad you got it all sorted out but this value in my spreadsheet is the same (achieves the same):
7D0-01-01 AA2A 0503 22D7 Heated & Cooled Seats enabled - home screen & climate screen

The values in blue have nothing to do with the seat buttons/HSW, only the digits denoted in black bold do. I'm only pointing this out so you or anyone else understand that while your first two set of numbers (noted in blue) may differ from mine, it's key to understand the actual bits in an address that are triggering the desired result while doing manual editing.

So in an earlier post I said a 2017 Explorer Sport w/401A package has the global window. It's not really global window and it is stated as "remote controlled front windows" but nonetheless it's holding the unlock button on key fob for a few seconds to roll down windows like the global window. This model Explorer also has the autofold side mirrors.

In the 2017 Explorer owners manual it states there is a setting in productivity screen for both of these options that must be enabled. It says under Settings, Mirror [Autofold] and another under Settings, Windows [Remote Open].

So with this in mind I entered every IPC value of a 2017 Explorer Sport 401A into my truck's IPC module to see if it would produce any such wording for either the remote windows or mirrors. Although some of my truck's menu choices disappeared with these values, no new wording/options ever appeared. So I believe neither the autofold mirrors or remote windows are possible with our trucks by changing module values since it doesn't provide us the menu choice to enable it.

Livinitup,
With the Excel you placed on Google. The Heated & Cooled Seats enabled - Home and Climate screen Code:

7D0-01-01 AA2A 0503 26DB Heated & Cooled Seats enabled - home screen & climate screen
7D0-01-01 AA2A 0503 27DC Heated Seats enabled - home screen & climate screen
7D0-01-01 AA2A 0503 25DA Cooled Seats enabled - home screen & climate screen
7D0-01-01 AA2A 0503 23D8 Heated Seats enabled - home screen & climate screen
7D0-01-01 AA2A 0503 21D6 Cooled Seats enabled - home screen & climate screen
7D0-01-01 AA2A 0503 22D7 Heated & Cooled Seats enabled - home screen & climate screen

Is this the correct code for 2015? Do you need to change each code or is Column D 26BD or 22D7 sufficient?

Apologies I missed the 2015 code that was posted somewhere in this forum previously.

ALLCON,
Where/What is the Engine noise disabled code?

Thanks

Column D is sufficient but you'd need to calculate your checksum (last 2 digits) since if any part of your code in columns B&C is different, the checksum listed in column D will be wrong for your values. You should be able to use the easy method for seat buttons that I discussed in the original post here rather than doing manually.

Engine noise can be done with the easy method in ACM module (I don't have that address in front of me at the moment for manual method)

I think I found it:

APIM
7D0-01-01 2AAA 0006 03B6 - Cooled Seat Icons
7D0-01-01 2AAA 0006 02B5 - Heated Seat Icons

7D0-01-01 2AAA 0102 22D2 - Heated and Cooled Seats

A6D7 - Heated Steering/Heated and Cooled Seats

Apologies,
For changing each code - I was meaning I have to change each row of codes or just the one line?
