Tommy, are they supposed to send me an email or something? Says license is generated, but I can't find an activation code anywhere.

at the far right on the screen that says the license is generated you will see "Download".... click on that to download the license, then in the FORScan software click "load license key", once the downloaded location window pops up click on the file you just downloaded to apply it to FORScan

Hey Livnitup, you seem to be the Forscan guru! So I recently used Forscan to remove Sirius from my audio menu and it worked well, however, in doing so I lost voice recognition. When I hit the button on the steering wheel Sync 3 shows a message "Voice Recognition Not Ready". I did a master resent but no go. 2016 XLT with Nav. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I can say 100% but I followed the instructions to decrement the value by 2. I saved the logs but there's no info. But I know that I followed the instructions correctly.

If I were you I'd deploy the backup I made before I changed it and then do it again without typos.

Default Back up camera help

Hey guys, After following the instructions on the ultimate OEM back up camera thread, I decided to take my truck to the dealership since I don’t have an OBD connector or Forscan. The installation went smoothly, so I feel positive that everything is wired correctly. However, the technician at the dealership said his program wouldn’t allow him to change the pertinent values for the camera activation. What am I missing? Is the dealership version of Forscan different from what everyone here uses???

Ford does not use Forscan. They have IDS or one other software and is limited what it can change without a lot of typing for the technician. To make the changes needed the technician would have to retype all the lines of code for whatever he needed to change, BCM, etc.
