Default Clearing transmission learning

Did a quick search and didn't find the answer to this question...

In Forscan can you clear the "learning" that the transmission did and start over with it "learning"? After doing the PCM updates for the new transmission calibrations it needs to relearn, would like to add an aftermarket intake and have it relean after installing that.

I do have one other question. I am ultimately trying to keep the White LED Halo and the front turn signal for my DRLs. I can't seem to find a way to make this happen. I can do one or the other but not both. I can get the LED Halo and parking lights, but on the new 2018 stock LED headlights the amber "strip" is so tiny it kind of sucks and the rear tails are on.

Any ideas at all? It's a 2018 Lariat 502a with Stock LED headlights so they seemed to have changed wiring or something on these from the older lights.

Question Global Windows and....THANKS!

First - as many here THANKS to Livnitup and the many others testing, debugging, programming, experimenting, stayin up late, and all the other stuff it takes to research this for us!

I'm the proud new-owner of a 2015 King Ranch - Ruby Red and mad my first mods recently. It's REALLY Cool!

Now, on Global Windows, in Livnitup's spreadsheet, I found the option for ROTU (Rear OneTouchUp) and applied the change. No good!
Does this take additional hardware?
Maybe it's only a Lincoln 'thing'?
Other mods went in ok - am I missing something?

I love driving with the windows open and the OneTouchUp would be handy....

Thanks again for all every one does!....

I'd like to bring up a documentation problem I think I've run across/tripped over. It's not major but could save you a lot of time twenty changes down the road...

I've followed the instructions and backed up all my as-built files. Made a change or two, backed up the changed file as BdyCM-MOD.ABT Made a couple more changes, backed up that file again, over-writing the previous MOD. No problem so far.
Now, one of my early changes was the 5 changes to disable the AutoStartStop. After a week or so, going into the city where I knew I would be spending several minutes stopped at lights I hit the dash switch thinking that would re-enable it. No dice, one of the changes was to disable that switch. No problem I'll go back and return that line to it's original state and re-enable the switch. Whoops, the only way to go back is to load the BdyCM-ORIG.ABT and then have to re-accomplish about a dozen changes. And while I have a list of those changes (had to build that list, too; should have generated it as I made changes)(I'm not a software configuration management specialist...obviously)(document, Document, DOCUMENT), what I've had to do was to make a copy of my BcyCM-ORIG.ABT and rename it with a .TXT extension so I could open it in Notepad and look up the original value, then post it in my To-Do/Done spreadsheet. Now I can look at that change for the switch disable and change just that back to original.

I've looked at the AsBuiltHacker software; it might do this for me but not sure.

@Livnitup, do you know if changing just the switch back to the original valueFCIM7A7-01-01xxxxx1xxxxxxwill allow me to manually re-enable AutoStartStop? Or does the BdyCM change prevent it from functioning anyway?

Howdy

The F150 does not have the modules in the rear doors to support one touch windows. So it will not support the global open and close. You did not miss anything.

No. Your Auto Stop start is disabled in the BCM. Enabling the circuit for the switch will not enable auto stop start.

In ForScan delete any saved user profiles you might have and reconnect afterwards. Make sure your connection settings match your adapter (such as directing the program whether you are using a toggle switch on your OBD adapter if applicable).

If you are using an ELM327 with can bus switch, be sure to flip that switch when prompted so ForScan can recognize all the modules in the vehicle.

If you don't delete your saved profile (if you even have one), ForScan will repeatedly reload old data and skip over any new modules it might otherwise look for.

The BdyCM is the only change that disables the A.S.S. The others are just options to disable the switch and the IPC icon.

As far as documenting. I have a spread sheet that I update with every change with the before and after changes. This way I can go back and redo any one change as needed, manually. I also have the asbuilt files and I update the "update" files after each change.

Yes.

It only applies to the Ford Fusion, Ford Vignale and Ford Mondeo as far as I'm aware (maybe also the Edge and Flex?) . It can be added to the Fusion, but I think only the Vignale comes with it as a standard option. F150's do not have the circuits to even support adding it.

If someone wants to retrofit a Ford Fusion rear DDM and rear PDM and switch packs into your truck it might work.
