I'm going to play around to find if there is a way to set the volume power button to turn off the Sync 3 display instead of mute the radio (like the Ford Focus does). I'm very doubtful because I tried before, but now with this 2019 as built data, which features no CD player we know the button sequence to enter test mode on Sync 3 is different due to the lack of the CD eject button, which should mean that somewhere in the ACM, APIM, or FCIM there should be a value responsible for determining which physical button mapping is in use. I'm very pessimistic, but it's worth another try.

I was fearing it was a Sony feature, not present on B&Os, since I read a report that a 2017 King Ranch was quieter than a BMW 740i, and my new Platinum definitely is not. It's quiet, but not as much, so thought it was the lack of ANC. Then I saw the FORScan report and thought maybe mine wasn't working or something. Ha ha. Thanks a lot again for your awesome explanation. Looking forward to getting the cable next week to make some changes.

Does anyone else's global windows not work when the truck is 1st started with the remote start? Mine wont roll the windows down if the truck was started with the remote start but my remote start is aftermarket plug and play. It will work the other way around though

Yes. I have stock remote start. If I start by remote before I roll windows down it won't work. Just have to remember roll windows down then start. Only downside is no conformation on my fob that windows are down so I need to have visual before I start.

Thanks to Livnitup and all the other members for the information on using forscan. After watching videos and reading this tread everything works flawless. (except reverse mirror tilt) anybody have luck with this?

Make sure you do the adjustment procedure linked to in the spreadsheet.
