FORScan - software to enable/disable features in your truck

I have a few ForScan questions for your ForScan thread.
First, as you know, I completely agree with you that ForScan should have that feature in a separate tab and that talking about it here may make others feel inclined to try something which could brick their vehicle easily.
With that in mind:
1) What hardware did you use? (I'm guessing a J2534/2 passthrough similar to a VCM 2).
2) What version of the beta's beta are you running? 2.4.0 Test20180405?
3) What version of Windows did you use?
4) Did you set any special COM port configurations?
5) Did you encounter app stability issues?
6) Did you encounter any catastrophic issues such as bricking a module or two before hand in other tests or did it feel straight forward?
7) When you chose the newer calibration did you use the drop down menu with the ForScan app? If yes, was it in the officially supported calibration list or non supported calibration list?
8) How long did it take to overwrite the firmware?
9) How many warnings did ForScan provide before writing the data? for example if someone accidentally clicked the write button is there a second preventative pop up window afterwards to 'make sure' it is the user's intended action?

Enabling the mustang steer feel modes in the F150 puts extra strain on the system. I wouldn't trust anything other than a stock configuration.

Is it possible to reset "Idle Time" or disable it?

I got my blinkers doing some weird stuff last night. I was trying to change to more flashes and whatever I did made the blinkers not turn off when they were full engaged unless I turned the other side on. I got it fixed now, but I bet the people behind me thought I was drunk.

No. But the Mustang isn't towing trailers and weighs a lot less. Even in the current F150 owners manual Ford warns us all that excessive steering will lead to EPAS overheat and full loss of power steering but they don't explain why... It's because they're cheap. Ford poorly explains in the F150 owners manual in fine print that when EPAS cools down steering is regained.

that's crazy they basically admit to the steering failing like that is there updates from the 15-17 to the 18s I've seen alot of post on various forums and complaints about the steering but I didnt see a whole lot about the 18 so I figured they updated something or added a heat sink to aid in cooling. My 18 screw 2.7 steering is and almost to easy to steer I've had to dodge lane changing traffic a few times and if u didnt have seat time you could easily over correct
I'm willing to try it on my 17 with 900A package
