I finally got around to doing some of these changes, I must say you did an awesome job in laying it out, making it super easy to follow and tackle. I had one little hiccup but got it figured out. Thanks everyone for the time and effort with this!

Maybe this is just the overly suspicious cop in me, but has anyone that knows anything about computer programming found anything in the installation file that would add anything to your computer that you should be worried about? I'm getting ready to jump into this and I guess my suspicious nature is getting the best of me. Of course I thought about this AFTER I installed it on my laptop... LOL

LOL, I don't want to get assassinated by Hillary Clinton because they find ties to Russia on my laptop...

Good question, but reality is, most software calls home for upgrades and verification of product keys. Would not surprise me if this does and more, thats why I use it on an old laptop that I use for forum visits only. Also, IMO, probably no more than any website you visit daily.

I finalized using Forscan to enable ACC (thanks livinitup for the PMs programming the vin) and changed the response time for the auto headlights from fast to slow.

You’d need to get Wine up and running first and I seem to remember that Forscan in Wine is either not supported or not recommended.
