So I have read in this thread that some other people with 2015s were having the same issue I am. Can the 2015s not do Halos only for DRL on OEM LEDs? I just successfully did every combination of DRLs except the one I want.

Before I read 13,000 posts in this thread

Will these forscan edits void your warranty? Looks like you guys are just editing some hex at certain addresses. Seems like no big whoop but I saw a post by someone who was loading custom tunes and they said there was a flash counter ford could check to see if anyone has been manipulating software. Does that apply here? I'd like to try a few of the simple display mods for temp but not if it's going to screw my warranty.

Flashing a PCM with a tune is a lot different than simply editing hex values in the other modules. See #1 in the FAQ section of my tutorial here for the warranty question: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...gF1wxIqxY/edit

Spoiler alert: No, it doesn't void warranty

Sorry about that. I started reading that doc but didn't make it down to the FAQ. I'm usually really good about reading/searching before posting. Thanks for the info!

Last night I enabled secure idle, and disabled Engine Idle Auto Shutdown.

For that I edited 720-01-01 x*xx xxxx xxxx from "C" to 5.

Today I drove the truck and when I set the cruise, I got a chime sound. Looked at the dash and no warnings or anything. Thought maybe it was a coincidence, but verified that it chimed every time I set or resumed cruise control (Non-adaptive). I also noticed the icon that shows the cruise set speed is missing.

Any ideas other than restoring back to original?

You should've used "4". Making it a 5 enabled Adaptive Cruise which caused the tone you heard and missing icon since you don't have Adaptive Cruise.
AEIS With Override, ABS Config, ACC Menu Config, Adaptive Cruise
4=AEIS disabled, ABS enabled, ACC menu disabled, AC disabled
5=AEIS disabled, ABS enabled, ACC menu disabled, AC enabled

Thanks, Yea I misread the posts on that. Thought I was supposed to go down 8 characters from C. 13-8=5, but I guess there is no 10 in that logic.

I changed it and tested in the driveway by just turningon the the CC and the icon showed up. I'm sure that got it taken care of.

Thanks again!!

I see your problem. "C" is 12, not 13.
A=10
B=11
C=12
D=13
E=14
F=15

Should be in the programming area too for an '18. I don't have it so I can't post a pic.
