I want to do the reverse mirror mod. I keep seeing mention if holding in the memory button for calibration. What is or better yet where is the memory button they are talking about?
Your memory button on the door, seat, pedals, mirror all in that 1,2,3 settings.

Is there a way to just look at a certain line of the as-built i backed up? I'd prefer not restore it all if i can. AKA, i'd like to know what the stock value was for just those 2 lines, rather than restoring the whole module and redoing all the BCM configurations again.
What I do is just load the back up data and look at what you want. Then exit without writing anything.

Use NOTEPAD to open the .ABT file. You can read everything. (I have set NOTEPAD as the default program to open those files, so I can just double click on one and it opens in a readable format.)

I have a buddy with a new 2017 F-250 diesel complaining about the auto-off in his new truck. Any chance the location and values would be the same for or idea where I could find the information?

There is this link from the tutorial for 2016 SD. Idk if the modules are the same.

I'm going to take my fathers 2016 XLT 300a apart and install a backup camera to his OEM 4.2" screen in the dash. I"ll make a video of the entire process while I'm at it. It should be as simple as wring an RCA input to pins 6 and 12 and enabling in Forscan plus adding a power splice off the reverse lamp. That is a post Christmas project.

I also made myself an excel doc of the pin-out of MFT and Sync 3 54pin harnesses because I'm highly considering installing Sync 3 from a 2016 into my company's 2014 XL, that one I'm putting off until next spring at least.

My data is still a work in progress, but I uploaded a few of my files if anyone cares to point out any obvious flaws.

I'm not paying 4D Tech or OEM Radio $3000 CAD for a harness I can build myself.

Depends what you mean by auto-off. Many things turn themselves off in Fords these days. Simply disabling Auto Engine off in the IPC won't do anything for your friend (if you're talking about what I think you're talking about). it will only remove it as an option from the screen and the truck will still shut down after 30 minutes.

Auto Engine Off is different than Auto Stop Start. It took me a year to figure out how to finally disable it on the F150. The Values should be the same in the BCM on the F250.

Show your friend this and ask him if it is his problem:

There's a 2017 Super Duty spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...s1s/edit#gid=0

And a FORScan thread for the 2017 Super Duties here: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...sheet-173.html
