There is a radio hissing noise that can be corrected or so I think with a firmware update to the APIM. I was reading about it on an EU focus thread and I think JM061 had it sorted out.

Whether or not thats even your issue is debatable.

There are also line level output adjustments in the ACM and EQ settings you can have a peek at.

Radio adjustment isnt my thing. My short answer is yes but I would have to think it could be anything from a bad wire shield / ground or any one of your custom modified parts.

Your best insight into this might come if you PM TexasFording, JM061 or DanMc85.

Not sure, but if you really need audio I can make another video montage of me saying ‘click here’ as much as possible in 60 seconds.

I cant upload any imovie creations until the weekend though.

- First of all wrong thread.

- Second I doubt you can use ForScan to bypass the vss in the seat module considering we can’t bypass it anywhere else.

- Third. I would suggest grabbing the wiring diagram for your memory module to see if the module has a switched 12V enable lead going to it from the BCM. you might be able to hardwire bypass just like we can for the spotlight module on 13 gens. if you need someone to decipher a wiring diagram go ahead and post it online but that brings me to my first point...

wrong thread. There is a dedicated 12 gen F150 section on this website.

Thanks.

Those modules won't even load. Basically it's the BCM and a few others, but nothing concerning audio.

Did you physically remove them? (ACM is the amplifier inside stock CD player). Or is it a bluetooth adapter issue not reading the CAN bus?

The stock CD player, 4.2" screen, and Sync module were all removed as part of the swap. Sorry for not being more clear.

Just out of curiosity, where is the fake engine noise generated? APIM, radio/module...!???

If audio was essential to the process I would have included it, but it's not; it would just be me saying "watch and click where I'm clicking." 99% of the people here have had success with the method listed and 1% just never bothered to back their modules up Lol.

I thought it was in the Digital Audio sound processor which in the sony system is physically located attached to the Subwoofer as part of the sub amp.

JM061 is the expert on that. As for 2018s I havent a clue but I assume its the same.

If so can you share the settings that you used? If not I will play with it and post my findings. Thanks!
Raptor splash screen:
APIM 7D0-02-01 xxxx-05xx-xxxx

(Note: the original response to this by @texasford indicated it was not possible. I enabled the Lincoln theme on mine tonight and found that response to be incorrect so I thought it worth providing an update, as it appears you can in fact enable whichever of listed splash screens you want but the shutdown screen will remain the Lincoln one)
