Code: U0102 - lost communication with TCCM

I'm not sure why it's giving me an error dealing with the TCCM when I don't have that module (4x2 version of truck). I've added the trailer brake controller, power fold/extend TT mirrors ( with the wire switch around ), disabled the honk, global windows, changed the splash screen on the center screen, changed the logo on the dash, put the numbers above the temp gauges, added the heated/cooled seat icons to the center radio display, and added hill descent control. Any clue what may be causing this error? I've cleared the DTC's several times, but this one keeps coming up. Appreciate any help you can provide.

Thanks!!!
Well that’s not good if you got a 2 wheel drive., IPC is looking for the transfer case module look at 720-01-01. 0xxx xxxx xxxx. Should be a zero on that first spot.

If you have a locking differential you will have a TCCM in a 4x2.

I found it in the wiring diagram, its under the section titled Remote Keyless Entry and Alarm. Its a normally closed switch between the BCM and ground.
I just went out and tried mine, as soon as I pop the hood release I have the message hood ajar. I wonder if this gets enabled when an alarm system is installed in the truck. Seems to me when I put the remote start/alarm system in my XL the hood was talked about, but then that may have been for testing to make sure the truck didn't start with the hood open. I have a bottom of the line XL for the record

I do have the 3.55 e-locker in mine so that might be why it's looking for the TCCM. I didn't realize it would have the TCCM module not having a transfer case.

Livinitup responded, provided some new values to try and everything is working fine now.

Just want to give a huge shout-out to Livinitup for his quick response and willingness to help those of us that have issues or questions. He responded back to me in about 30 minutes after I sent him back what he requested and provided me with the information I needed to eliminate the error code that I was getting. That's what makes this forum so great and the people even better!!!!

Thanks Livinitup and Airborne Ape.....Finally able to download Extended License. My laptop was old with XP OS. I only use it about once or twice a year since I started using Apple products. So I bought a cheap tablet with Windows 10 and downloaded the Forscan software. It then let me download the Ext. Lic., probably since I then had a new Hardware ID but not sure. I went through all the modules and backed them up and then disabled the Auto Start Stop with no issues. Although this week has been very busy at work with long hours I was so excited to get the OBDII and make some changes even though it’s 1a.m. Thought I would share my experience if it could help. Thanks for the help F150Forum and members. Tomorrow I will add: Global Windows, AutoFold Mirrors L.S., Reverse Tilt Mirrors and Panic Button. I will consider Tire Size after some research.

Hood switch for remote start is there so you don't have your fingers in the engine and somebody turns it on remotely....more of a safety / liability feature.

I have had the U0422 code since I did the tire size change for almost a year. There are others that have as well, it does not cause any issues. I'm used to seeing it now every time I use FORScan. I never got the "P" code. As Livnitup said, some get the "U" and some get the "P" code.
