Just to confirm I'm following - You guys want to disable the ability to unlock/lock the doors by grabbing the handle? I love this feature so curious why people are excited about disabling unless something else is being referred to?

I know this is suppose to be Forscan related, but neither linky is working to download Nav 3.0 file. I posted in the other thread if someone has a new link for the file somewhere, but no response yet. PM me if the link is private.

Can't wait to try the speed restriction mod. And to upgrade to the latest Forscan.

Thanks.

9/18/2017 - Located the file. Going to update this evening.

Ive always had it, but as Lucas8888 mentioned earlier it sometimes goes away when monkeying (ha! see what I did?) around the bcm. His suggestion did the trick.

I think he's referring to how washing your truck with the fob in your pocket or in proximity often locks/unlocks the doors (and folds/unfolds mirrors if you're not using Lincoln style autofold) when hosing down doors/mirrors with water.

Default Switchback DRL's

Park Lamps Body Cfg: 0=Position_Only, 1=Stop_Only

I have an XLT with factory halogens (after market LED rear & switch back front) With my DRLs set to parks as DRL I get the front white only as DRL
I'll have to review your settings. I have my switchback turns as my DRL's and there are amber. I would like them white for the DRL's and obviously amber for the turns.

That seems like an easy solution without having to disable something. lol

Just leave the key inside the truck.

What you want is your parks as DRL, not the turns. I suspect you have stock halogens, then you likely have :

726-45-01 xxxx 7Fxx xxxx
726-50-01 08xx

Change 726-50-01 108E and add:
726-26-02 x1xx xxxx xxxx DRL Include Park Lamps: 1=enable, 0=disable

Or you can run fogs and parks with 726-50-01 04xx instead.

I've done that a few times, but want to kick the habit. Alberta is the truck theft capitol these days and I don't trust leaving my keys unattended in my cab even if I'm a few feet away.
