Bambi mode allows Fogs and Highs at the same time.

You are correct in that most states will fail you at safety inspection if you enable bambi mode.
We don't need no stinkin' spections and we got lots of bambis down here in Bama.

Must be nice.

Back on topic, I finally enabled Global Windows. Not sure if I will ever really use it though. My last car had this and I never used it on there either.

I should also read the spreadsheet more thoroughly, I just learned that I could program the truck to remember the fog light settings on the last page.

LOL, check out the highlighted feature now listed as a programmable parameter that can be turned on with IDS in the 2018's. Better late than never I guess, Ford!

Probably the side mirrors since they fold rearward. Unless its a new option for back seat drivers.

Thumbs up

I removed the BAMBI mode (as Livnitup advised) and can confirm the Fogs now go out with the high beams. Low beams remain on with the high beams, but the Fogs go out so I only have 4 lights on at a time. Colorado is a 4 light state. I've seen a couple of comments with conflicting information on whether or not the low beams remain on when the high beam is used, but in my case I can confirm mine now remain on. If anyone with an XLT who has not changed DRLs wants to verify whether or not their low beams remain on with the high beams, it would be good to know the stock configuration.

Livnitup, thanks again for your insight and help. You have done a tremendous job figuring all this out and sharing what you have learned! This is so addicting......

Just this morning I confirmed for myself that with Bambi mode enabled, all six lights are on: highs, lows, fogs. Not sure what FL law states... don't much care. "Six lights" sounds a bit arbitrary, when all you really want to do is not blind oncoming drivers, which is easy enough to do by being considerate. BUT, that's for another thread...

I have a 2015 Platinum Ecoboost. Is it possible to use FORScan to recalibrate the tire size?

Default Help generating license key!

Reposting this in the correct thread...

Trying to generate a license key for FORscan and it's giving me fits. Plugged in the hardware ID and this is what it is telling me:

"License key with such Hardware ID already exists"

I can only find one other instance of someone having this issue and never found an answer. Any ideas?

Did you try emailing the developers like I suggested in the other thread?
