Would enabling TBC Gain be not advised?=Thanks for all your info on the thread.

Default IPC Module

First off, many kudos to all who make this forscan and thread successful. I've made a few changes, but am stumped on this one.

2016 xlt, 302a, 2.7 . Would like to see eng/trans temps above guages, but can't seem to get it to work.

As built---IPC 720-07-01 8401 80A0 6034

Spread sheet common tab 8/17/17 xxxx x65x xxxx (noTBC)

Spread sheet IPC tab 8409 8E50 60FA (will try in morning)

Guage needles hang DOWN from top of cluster; maybe no room left?

Possibility that I may have scrambled the as built coding during first foray into the truck's brains.
Done a lot of thread searching, my brain hurts. Time for bed.

Many Thanks, Tom

My mistake, I thought you originally said you didn't have a TBC but I went back and read you do. So, you should have the TBC Gain enabled. You should have plus & minus buttons right below the TBC and that's for the gain.

If your as-built is IPC 720-07-01 8401 80A0 6034 then the following is what you should use for temps: 720-07-01 xxxx x250 xxxx

Edit: Wait, if you have an XLT you don't have the 8" cluster unless you added it after you bought the truck. If you don't have the 8" cluster display you can't do temps above gauges.

I and many others use the OBDLink MX, bluetooth. Works great and no external switch to flip to read the HS modules and MS modules. Amazon has them and they have cheaper ones as well.
