Pull up your APIM As-Built Data for editing...Only works with 2.0/2.2 software.

Change this line:
7D0-04-01 xxxx xxxx 0Exx

Adding the 0E in this spot should change the generic SYNC bluetooth pairing name to say Ford F-150 instead on your phone. It is good if your family has multiple Ford vehicles that your phone is paired with.

Let me know.

Others: Fusion is 03, Mondeo is 24, Mustang is 06, Edge is 09, MKZ is 19, and there are more of course. Usually can check ABD on this spot from a 2017 with Sync 3 to find code.
Works for me here. One thing you have to remember is to delete your previous paring on both the APIM and the phone and it'll work.

I was laughing at one point last week. I was deep into some thread on a Russian web forum on google translate and your user name popped up at the bottom of the page.

Has anyone dove into the possibility of the climate seats/heated steering wheel having the memory retention function like in the Super Duty? In the 2017 SD and some other 2016/2017 Ford products the climate controlled seats will retain their last setting even after you shut the truck off and turn it back on again. I imagine it's probably possible in our trucks?

My iPhone just says Bluetooth most of the time lately, not even SYNC lol... on my LG V20 Android phone is says my car name like it is supposed to.

That didn't work. It accepts the change but still displays the regular theme and not the GT theme. I tried a bunch of other boot screen combinations and it appears the only way to get the GT theme is having the GT boot screen appear along with it.

While I was playing around with APIM themes, I decided to check out the Lincoln version. Turns out that when I enable the Lincoln theme with the "Presidential" boot screen, when the APIM shuts down it displays the "ST" screen...and it was the only one to do so...here are some other results which I logged (Livnitup, not sure if you want to update your spreadsheet to reflect?) This was completed with SYNC 3 v2.2 released through the Ford owners website.

Changes I made:

7D0-01-02 8xxx xxxx xxxx

7D0-03-01 xxxx x2xx xxxx

along with

7D0-02-01 xxxx x*xx xxxx

0 - Lincoln boot screen with Lincoln shutdown screen
1 - Lincoln boot screen with Lincoln shutdown screen
2 - Lincoln boot screen with Lincoln shutdown screen
3 - Lincoln Black Label boot screen with Lincoln Black Label shutdown screen
4 - Lincoln Presedential boot screen with ST Ford Performance shutdown screen
5 - Raptor Ford Performance boot screen with Lincoln shutdown screen
6 - Mustang boot screen with Lincoln shutdown screen
7 - GT350 boot screen (silver) with Lincoln shutdown screen
8 - GT350 boot screen (silver) with Lincoln shutdown screen
9 - GT350 boot screen (red) with Lincoln shutdown screen
A - GT350 boot screen (red) with Lincoln shutdown screen
B - Default Ford boot screen with Lincoln shutdown screen
C - RS boot screen with Lincoln shutdown screen
D - GT boot screen with Lincoln shutdown screen
E - Continental boot screen with Lincoln shutdown screen
F - Default Ford boot screen with Lincoln shutdown screen

Tried that. I delete both pairings that were saved in the APIM first, then I deleted the SYNC pairing from each phone. Shut everything down and then waited 5 minutes. Made the change and it still displayed SYNC. I only recently updated to SYNC 3 v2.2 this morning, after it popped up on the Ford owner website. I will give it another shot tomorrow, but I'm willing to bet it will give the same results.

Do you happen to have the one for the Focus?

According to as-built it should be 02 for Focus

I've added most vehicles to row 65 here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...gid=1479139836

Has anyone add Factory Remote start and used forscan to add it? I am wanting to add remote start with my phone.
https://accessories.ford.com/electro...tem-11463.html
I saw this BCM change and wanted to make sure it would enable the above factory remote start.
726-22-02 0001 0001 0053 Remote Start enabled

And is the security system REQUIRED for the remote start or just optional?
Thanks
Chris
