But that was last year, and I haven't played with holding it for 5 seconds vs double tapping the button since then.

Second, I tried to search about PowerPlant Timeout but couldn't find exactly what it does and powers. Is there a post somewhere that explains it better>
The powerpoint timeout is for the 12V cigarette lighter receptacles. Some people have their dash cameras powered off the 12V receptacle and want the power to shut off immediately after powering off the truck instead of having to unplug it. Other people want it on for a longer specific time period for powering other accessories while the truck isn't running.

I'm not talking about a new thread for FORScan details, tricks, etc.
I mean more of a thread to put members personally in contact with other members from their areas who know the software better.
The intent is to not clog up this thread with things like that.

The chance of people finding someone near them is pretty slim in my opinion...the guys who have used FORScan probably won't be searching that thread for people near them needing help. Why don't you just give it a shot yourself for the $30 investment? There's been plenty of guys who thought it was too complicated but after doing it they realize it's pretty easy. The procedure in post #1 in this thread details how to backup everything just in case so you make a mistake and anything you do is completely reversible.

If you need any help along the way you can post here or pm me directly and I can help.

It's time constraints for me personally. As a Project Manager I have no time during the day. Combine that with 3 kids and their extracurricular activities on the weekends and I'm pretty much spent. lol
It was just a thought.

Even with TCS and ESC disabled the RSC apparently can do the same thing if it detects wheel spin and sliding or yawing. So I would assume that limits "fun time" even when the system says "disabled".

While you're sitting in the parking lot waiting on the kids you can do it.. This isn't a hours long process,,,,, till you get hooked like Livnitup and others,, and it becomes your life..

Well, that's unfortunate... I haven't taken mine anywhere for donuts or sliding because I don't want to throw sand all up under it yet. Haha. Although, I have taken friends on rides with it off (button press, then press and hold for 5 seconds) and slid the back end around on dry pavement. Always got a smile. Haha

So true, I think I knocked all my changes out in a total of 1-2 hours. But I did a lot of searching trying to get a Lincoln Black Label theme, but couldn't find any combo to get it. My list was a Lincoln Presidential theme, numbers above gauges, fog lights with high beams, auto fold mirrors, mirrors turn to ground when button pressed in reverse (not quite what I expected, likely going to revisit), double honk disabled, and global windows (just the front two?). It really doesn't take very long.
