You can make changes to the modules like you can with FORScan without using any of these credits though and I believe these credits are only needed for the firmware flashes.
What is the name of this software you speak of?

Just received my ELMconfig tool. Going to attempt to do the HDC after I back up all the stock info. Was wondering what the toggle on device is for and what it should be set on? Either HS-CAN or MS-CAN?
Thanks.

I have ordered both the USB and Bluetooth adapters for home and work. Other than convenience is there any advantage to using one adapter over the other?

If I am correct, the USB adapter must be toggled between HS CAN and MS CAN where the Bluetooth adapter does this automatically. Sound correct and are there any other differences?

Please tell us more about "Lincoln Experience" please. What does this mod do? No one have come here and really elaborated on this mod...

You're exactly right, the OBDlink MX bluetooth is just more convenient because there's no pausing while FORScan prompts for the HS/MS CAN switch to be toggled.

On the USB adapter, install the drivers before connecting it to the laptop, then reboot laptop and should be ready to go.

That's very good information. I assume the drivers can be found from the information that is provided with the USB adapter?

The correct usb driver should be included with the adapter by the vendor but if for some reason it's not, I've found the link below is a great reference on getting the correct driver installed and/or troubleshooting. Depending on the chip used in the adapter, there's like 5 or 6 possible drivers I believe that will get it working and all are available below.

So, that looks like SYNC2. Do we know if they work on SYNC3? I changed my setting to ROCK I believe, but didn't get any menu changes, and not sure about any audio change.
