Done. Ordered $179 shipped (stupid NJ state tax) I should be able to start messing with the truck next week. Now I have to order a ODB II reader.

I am thinking of getting some pedestal XLT mirrors with turn signals, manual fold, defrost. I currently have a XL, and from what I hear you have to turn on your rear defrost for the defrost on the side mirrors to come on. Is there a way to change this with forscan since I don't have rear defrost?

I'm still getting the No ELM found error, it's driving me crazy!!
The OBD wiz software connects fine, no issues. Forscan will see my OBDLink MX(Bluetooth)
I have tried switching comm ports, setting connection type to auto , setting the connection to blue tooth etc. It will go through and try all the connections (Bluetooth, wifi, com3 and com 4) No luck!!
I have tried re-pairing, restarting the programs several time with the same result,
What am I missing here?

Under my Blue tooth setting I Have COM 3 set to outgoing and COM 4 for incoming.

Do you have OBDWiz running at the same time you're trying to connect with FORScan? If so, close OBDWiz and try connecting in FORScan. Do you have the ignition on with OBDlink MX BT inserted before you're pressing the connect button in FORScan? Are you running Windows 7? If so, do you have a different laptop with Win 8/10 you could try?

There are some hotfixes on microsoft's support site for Windows 7 & bluetooth issues.

Edit: you don't have the adapter paired with a phone while you're trying to connect with your computer either right?

Default lost heated st wheel and fuel DTE very high?

I jumped in with both feet playing with the codes. I successfully changed:
Autofold Mirrors
Reverse Tilt Mirrors
Global Windows (but appears just front windows)
Double Honk Delete
Bambi
Seatbelt Minders Off
Engine & Trans Temp (May be issue here)
Heated/Cooled Seats (May be issue here)
Secure Idle (didn't check this one)

So here is a concern - the heated steering wheel icon is gone on my display and more peculiarly the "Distance to Empty" mileage is way high - at 550 miles and should be in the high 300's. Anyone experience this before?

No Heated Steering Wheel Icon
