It's my first day
I read something a while back. I forget if it was here or on the 2G Fusion forum.
Quick FYI:
I can confirm that while Secure Idle is enabled you will still receive an engine automatic shutdown warning after an extended period of idle time.
E.g. while sitting in idle at a McDonalds parking lot, drinking poorly made coffee and waiting for yourdrug dealer business colleagues to show up.

I tried the following this morning while I had my truck configured for Canadian forced DRLs and it worked.
BCM: 726-26-02 x1xx xxxx xxxx - Parking lamps on with low beams for DRL
I was unable to test under U.S. style with daytime lights enabled and in the auto position because it's dark & rainy today and the truck was turning on lights in auto position regardless whether I had daytime lights selected in IPC menu or not.
Edit: if anyone in U.S. with an XLT configured for daytime lights in IPC can try this and report back I'd appreciate it.

yes but a thief would need a pry tool and I don't want EVERYONE to know and chose not too mention that on youtube for a good reason. Besides, at least with secure idle, it should buy you Americans enough time to turn around and shoot the person who's stealing your truck as opposed to someone just hopping in and taking off.

No. Pin #1 has 12v. So you remove the pin, wire,or cut the wire in pin#2 then run a jumper to pin #2 from the 12v pin #1 so it has 12v power all the time. Then take the gray wire that you cut or pulled from pin#2 and tape it or heat shrink it.

I did not change the 720-01-02 value, because the other memory location seemed to do what I wanted, so I guess this kept the "Door Ajar" warning chime active - which it is, and that's fine with me. This chime stops after a few chimes.
Also, my "X" value in the 720-01-02 xxxx xXxx memory location is a "0", if I subtract 1, would this become an "F"??

Correct, the engine shut off. I did some testing after seeing this today
With the fob outside of the truck, brake pedal depressed then press and hold the white tab and place in drive the engine shut off.
With the fob outside of the truck, foot off the brake pedal then press and hold the white tab and place in drive the engine does not shut off.
For some strange reason after one of these tests the key was placed back in the truck and I tried to restart the engine and the starter just rolled and the truck wouldn't start. Tried it right after and the truck restarted no problem.
