Yes when I open forscan and click on connect then forscan looks for obd in com's and when it finds it uit list's it in the box high lighted green then I click the box that says connect.
also Im on my PC in the house not on a laptop, It has bluetooth.
Not sure how you paired it from what you typed but you must push the button on the MX BT to pair it (even if Windows sees it without that step). So if this isn't the way you paired it, start over by removing it under bluetooth devices. After you pair it correctly, go into FORScan settings, connection tab and you should see your adapter there in the pull down list for bluetooth devices like the picture below. If yours looks like that in FORScan, it should connect and read modules fine unless you're out of range or something using the house pc.

it was a eBay special...I ordered it at the same time I ordered my OBDLink MX so I never used it. I was going to offer it up here to anyone that wants it if you knew it worked ( I've never even plugged the thing in)

I need access to wiring diagrams so I can stop making a fool of myself. Thanks for the info and proving me wrong. At least I learned something out of it which is what I'm here for. I'm a bit pissed that my windshield wiper blades aren't heated now.

I have a set to install. Just trying to figure a way to get the wires up to the wiper arms with out cutting up the plastic around the wiper shafts, but think I will end up doing it. Running a wire or two through the firewall is no picnic either.
