just get a usb bluetooth adapter like something here: https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_n...etooth+adapter

This will give your laptop bluetooth capability to use your adapter with FORScan

My laptop isn't BT enabled either.... so I went to Best Buy and got their Insignia USB - Bluetooth 4.0 adapter, which was on clearance for $2.99 ... SCORE !!

I think I'm starting to understand BCM better and noticing similarities that are allowing me to structure the testing method accordingly. In an earlier post I speculated that trim packages that don't have certain features (like spot lights) may already have them set to enabled or there is no way to disable them. Tonight I confirmed (at least for spot lights) that all trim packages have this already set to enabled even if they don't actually come with it. This is why I wasn't finding things by comparing my as-built against as-built data of trucks that don't have certain options and testing the differences. So, if this holds true for different trim options, they will be easier to find. Found tonight:

BCM Module:
726-22-02 x0xx xxxx xxxx spot lights enabled
726-22-02 x1xx xxxx xxxx spot lights disabled

Hi everyone, so I did the 4" to 8" MFT upgrade. I need help with something. Can anyone tell me three things. When I had Ford change a code to get my Bluetooth voice calls working (so I could make calls hands free), I lost Sirius Radio radio. CAN I REGAIN SIRIUS RADIO ? Also the touchscreen has heated seats icons to turn them on and off, CAN I GET RID OF HEATED SEAT ICONS? And lastly the Temperature controls don't work (on screen), so if I turn up the fan with the manual ****, the 8" screen shows the fan icon going up' BUT if I try to use the touchscreen to turn up the fan it dosent work. And the on/off is the only thing that the touchscreen works for as far as temperature controls go. CAN I MAKE THE TEMPERATURE CONTROLS WORK THROUGH THE MFT TOUCHSCREEN OR GET RID OF THE TEMP ICONS COMPLETELY? I do not have a programmer, I would take it to Ford. Unless I have to buy one.
