Great info to know. Most shops do not have the VCM2/IDS tool, but some indy shops might have the Maxisys tool.
Now im gonna try and find one of my buddies that might have a Maxisys tool.
I've been too cheap to buy a laptop with bluetooth to even use my OBXlink tool.

Just a little information in case anyone is interested. I utilize a Maxisys Pro at work and it indeed has no problem programming our trucks. Here are a couple of pictures just looking at add subwoofer options.
For those who don't know, a Maxysis is a professional scan tool that plugs into an OBD2 port. (About $3000 so it's an expensive alternative unless you use it to MAKE money.)
