YES. There are 2 sets of switches (driver and passenger) on the center stack with 3 settings each for heated and cooled. My Window sticker has Heated and COOLED drivers and passenger seats listed in the INTERIOR list at the top of the window sticker.

I find in mine, the areas that are not covered by my body get cold because of the increased velocity of the air flow. Try seeing if with the seats lumbar area can hold a tissue with cooling on high. If yes, you have vented seats that suck, not blow. If no, the you have cooled seats.
This is why the internet is so “great”
If you read (and comprehended) my OP, I was simply pointing out where I noticed they cut costs. For the items I took issue with, I included my opinion. The items I didn’t, I simply pointed out the differences.

I bought a 2018 F-150 Platinum, identical to my 2015, and I've noticed a few differences between the two.... specifically where Ford made small cuts to save money. Some are arbitrary, some annoying and some disappointing. I wanted to start a list for what I've seen and anything you guys may have noticed that they got rid of, skimped, changed (not for the better), etc. I understand Ford is running a business but if you're going to raise the price by more than $1000/year, I'd at least expect Ford to provide the same level of comfort/convenience/finishing. **Please keep this this 2015+ F-150's only. The goal is to identify small, subtle, unadvertised changes on the current gen trucks and not the drastic changes from previous gens.
PRND Console Lights - As has been discussed in several topics, earlier this year Ford decided to no longer back-light the PRND indicators in the center console.
Multi-color Interior Lighting - Also previous discussed in other topics, Ford no longer has multi-colored LED's inside. Not a big deal to me, as I never changed mine from the stock setting, but I do really miss the handle's light turning red when a door is open.
Cooled / Vented Seats - While the 2015+ cooled seats were a disaster compared to previous generations, really disappointed Ford took the cheap/easy way out by simply making them vented now (fan only sucks air into seats now; not active attempts to cool anything).
Front Seat Chrome Trim - On the sides where you adjust the front seats, there's a U-shaped groove around the edge of the panel. On my 2015 Plat, those grooves had chrome strips inlaid - my 2018 doesn't.
Hood Latch - My 2015 hood latch (under the hood) had a yellow rubber boot covering it (to protect from hot metal and to make more visible) - my 2018 doesn't.
Owner's Manual Holder - My 2015 came with a thick padded vinyl holder for the manuals, My 2018 came with a simple thin cloth holder.
Please add any others you've noticed.... and save your "white people problems"-type comments. Like I said above, I only expected the same as my 2015, not better.

My 18 Platinum with cooled seats actually have a fan under the seat, however it is not blowing up into the seat, it is blowing to the side. One day I am going to look into trying to point the fan up into the seat. Then, maybe I will actually have cooled seats....
Not sure of build date, but pre-delivery inspection was done on 1/31/18 by the dealer...

Never really understood the need for heater or cooled seats. Wife has them but I really don't care for it. I guess my butt doesn't care. The 2017 is a trimmed down model, exactly what I've wanted to keep payload high. Cooled and heated seats costs you in more weighs (see what I did right there?) Than one.
I told myself years ago my next truck would be a base version to give me the payload I need.

My 2016 has no rubber cover on the hood release, and it has the thin cloth-covered folder for the owner's manual... so this is nothing new for 2018.

When was your truck built?

My 2018 was built in May and the window sticker says "ventilated ". Also, talking about ambient lighting, when they removed the multiple colors, the window stickers still showed "ambient lighting" early in the model year. Now they say "ambient lighting-one color".
