FordPass App: Show of hands, is FordPass working for you?
#11
Bought my 17 a couple months ago & it’s been working fine since then. Only error I get occasionally is after I start it with the app sometimes it will say error vehicle didn’t start, but it has started every time lol

Got my 2018 Lariat 3 weeks ago. No issues at all, works fine.

I don't use it. Downloaded it, took a look and deleted it.

ROFLOL!
I am in and out of my truck way too often to wait for Ford Pass or even bother testing it. Starting the truck when I am not in it bothers me as I think of the possibility of the truck departing (your friendly neighborhood thieves already know the fastest way into the truck) and having it run when I am not around also burns gas and I am cheap. I guess Ford Pass has its uses, but I personally think it is/was just something neat and tricky to tout that the others don't have.
Probably just a bad attitude on my part.

All remote starters work like this. Some even shut the vehicle off as soon as they tap the brake pedal with no key in the ignition.
And if you don't live in harsh weather then you probably won't be using the remote control feature so it's probably not for you.
I hate burning gas too but I'd rarher burn gas and have a nice and toasty truck in -30c weather.
