Hmmm the first time the wheels were ever removed from my 2015 was at 40,000 miles when I installed my bilstein 5100's. The lugs were all swollen and needed replacement. If excessive torque and impact guns were the root cause then it was some if the UAW's finest in Dearborn who are responsible.

I have seen so many swollen lug nuts because they rust and swell the metal cap/cover. I wish Ford used a 1 piece design instead of the current two piece that is prone to swelling.

Any good one piece replacements? On my Jeeps the aluminum skin would fall off, but the nuts never swelled.
