Ford responsible?

I don't see any conflict for the dealer. If the "young, naive" buyer couldn't get the truck lifted with big wheels from the dealer, he would just go to a shop to have it done. Dealers are just trying to increase sales and margins by having them ready to roll on the lot.
Are you saying the a dealer needs to tell a buyer of a stock vehicle that mods might result in a denied warranty claim? It's the buyers responsibility to read the manual and warranty book. Jeez, does everyone need their hand held all the time now? "But I didn't know".

IMO, if a dealership adds on anything to a truck after it has been delivered to the dealership, they are obligated, again IMO, to list it on the truck along with any warranties.
When my mother in law bought her car from another major vehicle maker, she was told that since the addons where applied by them, they were warrantied as long as the car.

Yes it's a real warranty issue, but thanks! Last I heard from the dealer that attempted warranty repairs by replacing parts was, they were going to contact FORD engineers for additional help. After never hearing from them, I emailed the service writer. No response so I kicked it up to the service manager. He said he would look into it. Never heard back from him. Sent letter to GM and copied owner, no response. So no, you can't go to another dealer and ask them to warranty another dealers failed repairs.
You can contact CS or another dealer and tell them the AC was repaired and now it isn't working again. That's honest, especially if it worked one time after the repair.
What exactly is the problem with the AC?

One good thing about no speedometer calibrator.... your mileage warranty will last longer. 5% bigger wheel (Revolutions per mile) equals ~ 1800 extra miles of warranty coverage assuming you do not reach the 36 month limit first.

I've never messed with MyKey and likely never will. But my stereo also has a maximum level of 30, which looks to be the number that puts the analog looking gauge at full swing. I didn't realize that everyone else's wasn't the same. I'm guessing that maximum is maximum regardless of what the number indicates, just a different amount of increments in between?

Ford can't calibrate the speedometer using IDS. They would have to use software like FORScan, which they won't, or use an aftermarket speedometer calibrator or tuner.
Was the lift, wheels & tires installed prior to delivery or after delivery? If after delivery and you didn't clearly specify you wanted the speedometer adjusted by whatever means, it is unlikely they would make any correction to the speedometer depending on statues within your state. If not, usually you are required to sign a document stating the speedometer has not been recalibrated.

I have taken my truck into multiple for dealers and all say that my lift, wheels and tires does not void the warranty because it was done from a ford dealership. i have had some things adjusted at no cost. maybe it is not like that everywhere but i have had no issues what so ever
