So i had my lift, wheels and tires done from ford. Shouldn't they have to recalibrate my spedometor since it is now off by 7mph and 75. Or no? Just wondering before i go back in there lol

Also... wtf is up with this 30 volume limit on the stero and how do i get the stereo to go up higher. Do i really need to upgrade the system? Or is there another way around it? Let me know guys. Appreciate any help

Ford can't calibrate the speedometer using IDS. They would have to use software like FORScan, which they won't, or use an aftermarket speedometer calibrator or tuner.

Was the lift, wheels & tires installed prior to delivery or after delivery? If after delivery and you didn't clearly specify you wanted the speedometer adjusted by whatever means, it is unlikely they would make any correction to the speedometer depending on statues within your state. If not, usually you are required to sign a document stating the speedometer has not been recalibrated.

I think the cost of calibration is on you. It's another service.

Correct. If post delivery you're not going to receive nor are you entitled to something you never paid for.

ONLY 30 on the volume? Are you hard of hearing or do you simply want to piss off everyone around you?

Ford didn't modify your truck. Your dealer did.

Based on posts on this forum that I have read: If you buy a lifted truck directly from a dealer, it still maintains the Ford warranty. Right?

So having said that and if true, if a dealer installed or had the kit installed at their direction and sold it to you not stating any disclosure of changes to the Ford warranty due to the lift at sale time, I would think that it should be their responsibility to ensure to the purchaser, that it is road safe.

Have you heard a ford stereo lately? The volume isn't going to hurt anything but the crappy speakers lol

Ford does not warrant after market parts or installation. If the dealer installed or had installed by a 3rd party then warranty [if any] would come from the dealer, 3rd party or manufacture of the parts.
In some cases the installation may void the factory warranty on related parts on the truck.
Bottom line Ford is in no way responsible.

"MyKey" is probably set, which limits the volume ... change both keys to 'Admin" and you will have full control over the audio.
