Will they be removing the front seats to do this? If so, that's even less of a chance of me letting them do it.

Had mine done last Friday...took about an hour. I always get paranoid about rattles showing up when the dealer works on anything in the interior. Thankfully everything seems as it was.

I specifically asked if they were going to remove the seats and they said only the trim around the B pillar. I could tell they had moved my passenger seat up.

They move the seats way up because the pretensioner is not at the seatbelt buckle on this one it's on the pillar by the doors where the main seatbelt assembly is.

The fix is definitely ghetto looking but i don't understand how people are talking **** about the fix, it's simply removing fire hazards around the pretensioner. They're talking about redesigning the pretensioner to contain the explosion more... this is called a bomb or a gun fellas, lol.

why is the fix, “getto looking” what is different if they just do work under the trim?

Clearly it isn't visible, i'm just saying what people are saying about it, i couldn't care less, as long as it's fixed it's fine by me.
