Default Ford put a HOLD on releasing F150's

My truck was produced on 8-17 and just sitting at Dearborn. My dealer found out today that a hold was put on the truck. He looked up some other trucks on order and several also had a "hold" on them. Another poster in AZ said his made it to the rail yard and Ford told the rail yard not to release it. Anybody have any ideas or facts as to why Ford is doing this? Maybe one of the reps on here can dig into it deeper.

Cooled seat not working TSB 15-0140 maybe they want to fix them before delivery now?

Guaranteed, I hope so. Did the dealer say this or Ford?

I can tell you mine was built on 9-8 and dealer received it today.....

Assembled in Dearborn, Dealer in Livonia.

If its true, I would suspect there is a legitimate issue its on hold.

I went and test drove it today and gave it a nice pre-inspection, inspection....LOL I gotta say that 5.0 with 3.55 rear end has plenty of get up and go and sounds nice too!!! Cant wait to take delivery!

Perhaps the broken speedometer issues have something to do with the hold? Is there a prize for whoever guesses correctly?

When you where there did you see the tow truck with my RubeRed 5L 3.55 on its bed pull in?

When I get mine back and you pick yours up we can test drive each other's trucks to see what's normal or not.

What? I don't believe that. A build date of 9-8 and delivery 9-14. I guess they just drive it across town to the dealer.
