Ford Perimeter Plus Install

I know this is an older thread. Looking to add the shock sensor to my 15 Platinum. Any of you guys that added the shock sensors have the motion sensors as well? I know this is plug and play but I want to make sure I don't for some reason lose the function of the motion sensors with installing this part. Would not be fun to drop the cash on it and not be happy. Thoughts? Anyone that can check their own vehicle?

I just looked at my window sticker and it has the perimeter alarm listed under safety/security. I've been driving it for nearly 6 months and have never experienced an alarm. Am I missing something here? Should I have had an alarm of some kind in 6 months? I really have no idea what is supposed to cause a perimeter alarm. (Manual is no help, I'll try my friend Google)

Actually I finally found it in the owners manual. Click the lock button (no double click just the blinker flash) and arms in 20 seconds.

Shock sensor extra wires???
I bought the same Kit as the originator of this thread. FT4Z-19A361-A. I have not tried to install it yet (2016 Platinum). One thing has me puzzled, in the supplied wire assembly, there are two wires coming from the plug that goes into the shock sensor that exit the wiring bundle and just hang out loose?? No mention of these wires in any of the instructions I've been able to locate, or in any of the posts about installing this system.
The wires are 1. all white and 2. white with a single red stripe.
Does anybody have a clue as to what these wires are for?

If it's not working, check to see if the small jumper is installed. It is for disabling the alarm, so it won't work if it's plugged into the unit.
Edit - Whoa, old thread
