Ford Perimeter Plus...?
Will dive in there and see how the dealer did it on my truck, will shoot a pic and will look for the pocket with holes to line up.
Tried to test the system yesterday by shaking the truck and smacking it, no cigar.
(Dealer said they turned it to max sensitivity)
The Owner’s manual said the sensor will not react to natural movement like wind gusts, etc., but will respond to destructive shock loads, or near destructive. One would think the whole idea of this gizmo was to start the alarm before any damage was done...?
Thx, good video, looks easy like you guys have said above: plug and play,

Ok, did a dive under the dash and found the Perimeter Plus, it was not dangling in the wires, but rather cable tied to a fat wire bundle. Probably should be rigid mounted to transmit the shocks better.
Did not see any pocket, but will try again with a stronger light and use a better camera next time.
Oops, pictures did not upload,
Will try again. Stay tuned.

Had the LED light installed today. (Wish I could post a picture, tried before, no cigar)
LED on the left A pillar below handle and forward. Bright red, but small, have to be close to the truck to see it. Visible from the front, but not more than foot to the left (drivers side) and forward of the hood.
will try to load pics again tomorrow. Light looks like it belongs there and pretty useful: It blinks when alarm is armed and steady in the pre-arming phase. It will also blink rapidly if the truck has been tampered with.

I know how to do pictures on similar forums: Spending too much time on the internet and member of forums for boats and airplanes, etc.
Posted hundreds of pics over the years, but yesterday nothing worked on this site: Tried to upload from the iPad to the attachment manager and got far enough that I could see the pics on the tool page, but hitting the upload button stopped everything.
Suspect the server had a cold, will try again tomorrow.
Stay tuned.

I had the dealer do the LED install, but discussed the location before surgery.

Wow, it worked, Location of the shock sensor. Looks like the pics need to be rotated, but better than nothing...
