Bob Cline at Zeigler Ford will ALWAYS have the best price if you call him directly........
Several people screwed up the online discount last year when they were claiming the discount AND doing the finance option for the ESP. can't do both.
Currently, I believe the discount is $225 off the online pricing. CALL for the best price.

You will get a lot of opinions on the pros/cons or ESP's. Since high mileage will not be an issue with your truck, I would just wait until the end of the factory 3 year bumper-to-bumper. Ford has already given you 100% coverage for 3 years, no need to double down with an ESP from day one. After 3 years, you will have a feel for how reliable your truck has been and if you plan on keeping it for a longer period. If you feel an ESP is needed for your peace of mind, you can shop for the best price. Typically you might pay a few more dollars adding it after 3 years, but the amount is negligible.

Not worth it for you as is the case with most. But hey sending me $1200 and I'll take you for steak dinner twice a year. You'll get more for your money. Or better yet set it aside and invest it.

I went with the 8 year 100,000 mile $50 deductible from Flood. My yearly mileage is about the same as you. I wanted peace of mind for 8 years and got the 100,000 mile just in case I started driving more.

Evey situation is different. Up to you but changing it now will be cheaper. Especially if you are under 12k miles. They can refund the first plan and add miles. I did that on my Edge and Champion Ford didn't charge me the cancellation fee. That may be standard, don't know. Instead of a couple hundred more now, it will be over a $1000 once it expires. Your call.
