Default FORD cold weather test team?

If there is such a team, these people should be fired and red flagged to never work in the automotive industry, ever.

The have made complete fools of FORD and caused total lack of faith in FORD products.

Would be nice if someone would step up to the plate and explain to the people that bought these vehicles, just how a failure of this magnitude was ever was able to take place.

When purchasing my F150, my dealer said extensive testing has been done on this redesign. I better stop here

Anyone? Stand up?

Which issue are you talking about? The freezing tailgate latch? The door handles? What are the other problems?

They obviously do very little in the way of cold weather testing in my opinion! A few engineers heads need to roll for the door latch issues and the utter stupidity of the wrap around doors at the bottom.

Really! Do yourself a favor and search the internet for the freezing and latch problems...Ford has even issued TSB on the issues!

As one of those 'foolish' engineers in the Auto industry, let me chime in..

1) OP hasn't listed what 'issue' he's referring to, so I have to take this as trolling...
2) You bought a f***ing aluminum truck. Aluminum expands/contracts in hot/cold weather much more than steel... it's physics.. all cars do this, not just Fords. If people drove their aluminum Ferrari's in -20 and snow, they'd have the same issues

Until this thread is more specific on what we'd like to bitch about, and try to resolve, it will be taken with a grain of salt, and zero f***s will be given. That is all, carry on...
