So how is this "shortage" going to affect my ability to get decent pricing later this summer? was hoping to get invoice minus some change, minus rebates/cash-back/etc.

I have yet to meet a 2015 owner with a single problem.
I walk over and ask anyone i see driving a new 2015 f150.
So far the replies are things like great truck....and loving the new truck.
I don't want to be a negative Nancy, but the 2015 section of this forum seems to have become a place for people to bitch about the smallest thing. I keep hearing how this is a $40k, $50k, $60k truck and everything should be perfect!! The truth is, its more like a $27k truck with a bunch of bull**** added to it. You don't compare your kia with 20k in options to a Mercedes.

"Ahhhh my tailgate won't open what should I do?!" Have you tried ford service?
or

"I closed my garage door on my tailgate after hitting the release button, ford engineers suck"
or

"Will someone please help me decide which floor mats to get?!"

Explains why they are so problematic, rushing to build and leaving to warranty to repair!

Sad!

What's wrong with asking others about what floor mats to get?

I'm kinda hoping Ford will start offering some nice incentives once they get their production ramped up in order to catch up with the competitors sales figures, but that's just wishful thinking. But I doubt that's going to happen. By the time they figure out the supply situation they'll be early in the 2016 model year, IMO, and reluctant to offer many incentives on 'new' 2016s.

Did you need help on deciding what underwear to throw on this morning? People complaining about the truck not telling them their washer fluid is low or that there isn't a single place in the truck to place a cell phone, or even that they can't fit their gallon water jugs in the cup holders...

As of last week GM had sold almost 5,000 more half ton pickups than Ford in 2015 with both month over month (May) and year over year sales increases in both the GMC and Chev version of their truck. I am not trying to troll but it seems like they are doing something right.
