Ford Connect sends you push alerts if your alarm goes off. Including if you have the VSS installed and the shock sensor is triggered.

I just called the number at the bottom of the my.fordremoteaccess.com page and they told me that the updated app has been submitted to Apple and now they are only waiting for Apple to approve it. They said they hope for it to be available within a week.

I just updated to iOS 11 before I read this and it seems to work fine.

Maybe you’re running something else. The remote access app will just produce a pop up that says the app needs to be updated. The app will not run. It’s dead until they release the new version for iOS 11.

You're right, my mistake. I am using the FordPass app. I had assumed it was the same because people were discussing both in this thread but I see that there must be another app as well.

Yeah...all they did was make it work with iOS11. No further updating like adding GPS (there is one built into the unit).

The app update has been released. It's in the app store. Version 1.4.
It does work.
