Default Flooding the air waves

Watching the tube the other night and every commercial time here is GM with the same old lame add. So maybe in a hour long program there are 4 for GM trucks. Ford had only one for the night and it was a well thought out targeting the Texas markit

I always have a little giggle at their "special edition" commercial when buddy goes "oh did I forget to mention there are 5 special editions?" and then 4 more GM trucks roll out of the floor.

What's so special about them if there are 5 of them? Doesn't that just make it a different paint and option package?

I believe they are actually alternative editions not special editions like Ford's.

I DO wish Ford offer 1 special model, not the Raptor, that was sport oriented....lowered like the original Lightning, and had an engine output above the 2nd gen 3.5TT but below the Raptor....that would be nice...but 5 versions in Chevy's case is out of desperation, and merely waters down their offering.
