I have an extended warranty on my truck. So tell me if I'm wrong... I can buy a warranty from Flood or Ziegler right now? Can I get a refund on my current plan?
Generally speaking you can cancel and it will be prorated. Even if the vehicle is brand new and you cancel in first year the refund will be reduced by number of months you have had it. It is the reason on brand new vehicles people wait until the bumper to bumper from manufacture is almost used. A lot of warranties have to be cancelled at the dealership through finance dept.
My was refunded at 90% because I was still under the factory warranty which was a no brainer over what I saved with flood. The refund went to the bank though
