Default Fixing aftermarket amp behind rear seats

I've been looking throughout the forum to see different options to mount amps behind the rear seats in a 2016 Super Crew. There are a lot of great images showing where it could go, however, how are these mounted to the body?
Can I drill directly into the aluminum? Is there a double wall?
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't started on mine yet but when I had my amp in my 2013 super crew I took a couple of thin boards and put behind the insulation and screwed the amp to those boards thru the insulation. It works fine. Did not want to drill into the body.

Thanks for your feedback. Was there any concern of vibration since it was only mounted on insulation?

Ran it like that for two years. No problem.

Have you considered under the seat? A lot more room....

mine was cut so that on side rests on the floor, a few pieces of 3m doubleside to attach the MDF to the back wall and then put the carpet back, screws into the carpet and it bites into the wood, been there 5 months and hasn't moved
