Default Fitting Bigger Spare Under Truck Answered

There are several threads on here with people asking about fitting bigger spare tires under the truck in the stock location. Seems nobody ever comes back to the threads and responds on if XX size fits or not.
I just had a Nitto Terra Grappler G2 (295/70R18) installed on my OEM steel spare wheel. This measures to be a 34.3" diameter tire. It fit in the stock spare location with zero issues. I can still fit a finger between the tire and trailer hitch receiver. I would say a true 35" diameter tire would be the max size you could fit in the stock location.
Hope this helps others in the future that are trying to find this information.

35" tire will work in the spare tire location. I have a 35" tire in my truck. I wish a 37" tire will work, but it doesn't.
