First tow 2015 5.0, now stranded
We made it to the campsite, running 65 @ 12mpg. Went to walmart on the second day and smelled fuel. Looked under the truck and there a puddle of gas coming from the top of the tank. Thinking i overfilled it i left. In 6 miles i lost 9 gallons. Found the nearest dealer and dropped it off. Now i need a way to get the camper and my family home.
In 18 years of f150s, ive never had a problem. Now im stranded. ****ty dealer wouldnt even give us a ride back to the camp grounds. Ron Norris Ford in Titusville Fl. Seems like high pressure line has a hole but how? 18k miles on her. Parts 4 days away im told. We might have someone coming tomorrow to pull the trailer home. Very frustrated.

Sorry for your issues, but your thread title is highly misleading.

So you brought your truck to a dealer out of town during your trip, and they would not drive you to your campground (how far?). As to the stranded part, no warranty is going to cover bringing you and your family, and your camper, home from a remote location.

Tree rats like the rubber hoses.
Also, I did read here that the new wiring harnesses use soy-based wrapping, which the tree rats fancy.
Apparently, mothballs are a solution, stuck into a sock or something.
Maybe we will need to tactically place mothballs in various locations on the truck while camping??????
