First Oil Change at how many miles on your F150?
How many miles did you wait until your first oil change? I am at 3,000 miles, and I am getting mine changed for the first time today at the dealership. I plan on switching to Mobil One Full Synthetic at 10,000 miles. I will do that oil change myself because I want to be certain that all the old synthetic blend is drained out as much as possible. Also, I have a 2018 5.0 motor if that means any thing.

I had mine done at 5,000 at the recommendation of the dealer. I was going to wait until it told me to change but they said it's best to do it early on the first go round. I was fine with it as it was free.

Ford recommends to change it when the oil life monitor tells you to. Up to one year and 10k miles. Mine alerted me to change the oil at a little over 6k miles. All depends on how you use it. There is no right or wrong answer here, do what you are comfortable with.

I had the first one at ~3500, I'll do the second one somewhere around 10k, and I'll be going full synthetic from there on out.

I always do my 1st change at 5,000 and then try to follow the manufacturers guidance. In the case of my 14 F150 5.0 I changed it at 5,000 and then would go until the OLM hit ~30%. That usually meant I went about 7,500-8000 miles.
I'm at 5,000 in my new truck and planned on changing it then but will have to put off until next weekend with the holiday and travel. I planned to stick to the same 30% threshold on the OLM but I'm not sure where that lands because mine is currently at 60%. I won't go over 10,000.
