First long trip for my truck
Went from Northeast Ohio to Southeast Iowa, I-80 most of the way. Just short of 700 miles, 23 mpg per the dash, 22 pen & paper. Not too bad, cruise set at 79 most of the time (orange barrel season you know).
Truck performed flawlessly. No noise no problems
2015 Scab, 2.7 eco, 3.55 gears 4wd.
Visited my previous truck(now my son's), 2011 GMC Sierra.....wow, no comparison. Loved that truck but the Ford is so much nicer.

Last month took a trip to Burlington Ont. 1600 miles each way. Drove straight through for 23hrs. Drove an average of 67-73 mph and got 19.5 mpg up and 18.5 on the way back. For a 5.0, 4x4 with 3.55 rear end, not to bad. Truck was a pleasure to drive and was problem free. Really happy with this truck. My wife had one complaint though, said the rear drives window rattled. But I never heard it.

That's really good milage for that speed. Drop it down to 70 and I bet you could hit close to 24.
