Don't think you can get the Sport pkg with the long bed. Plus, as @ABolt said, HDPP forces you down into a 301. I know you can get remote start added to the 301, don't know about the 8" screen or BLIS.

For anyone old enough to remember the "old days" when you went in and ordered just what you wanted on a car or truck and were not stuck with packages?

Ha .. you think Ford is bad with that, Chevy is much worse.

Actually one of the things Ford is much better at, giving you some choices without nailing you for big $. Can't even get a long bed without a regular cab attached at Chevy.

Never had a base truck, if can would add the technology pkg if do a lot of driving, adaptive cruise. Ford Sync and Nav.
I don't carry the cell often so having it all built in is nice. If spend a lot of time in your truck get every bell and whistle can
afford.

Oh yea, my 1995 Ranger. My list was for, RCSB, 4wd, manual locking hubs and transfer case, heavy steel wheels and accompanying tires, limited slip 3.73 gearing, bench seat, 5 speed manual, Cardinal Red. Went thru about a dozen local dealerships before I found one and salesman who admitted first off I'd need to order. Everyone else insisted on searching for a few days. I've been going to the same dealership since 95 and the salesman is the new vehicle manager 24 years later. KM

buy something else!

I've always wanted an F150, finally got one, and it's been nothing but problems and i've had it less than a year. Worst purchase I've ever made.

engine problems, moon roof problems, performance problems and the list goes on...

Bought a new 2001 Supercrew. After the issues the first two years I swore I'd never buy another Ford. The next 16 years of reliability gave my emotions time to settle a bit. When looking for a new truck last year I wanted anything but a Ford, however, after objective comparison I ate my words and bought the best truck for the money.

My last 4 have been perfect. That’s 4 to 1 saying he should get it 😃

Plus, f150s with 8ft beds are like the Chuck Norris of trucks, they can’t fail.

Get the tow mirrors....adding after the fact is expensive if you want to get the OEM ones. I love my tow mirrors.

I also like the tailgate step. I wasn't sure at first, but now that I have it, I like it. The kids find it useful too for getting into the bed of the truck.

I got the centre console. It has loads of storage space and more comfortable for your elbow to rest on.

Tow mirrors ... check. Will do the console as well. Curious if anyone has the max tow/payload option?
