I got some free services when I bought my truck. Brought it in for it's first service. They opened at 0730, I got here at 0738 and they were already "a couple hours" into waiting. Maybe it's just this dealer, but when I took my Honda in for service, they had a 20 stall service center, in and out in 45 minutes. So, the wait continues. After reading some of y'alls stories, I'm leary already. Will update when I'm out of here.

Sorry to hear OP, unfortunately a lot of dealers get that way, especially right before a holiday. Everyone and their mothers and brothers cousins have to get their service done right now, cause they have a trip coming up lol.
Were they up front and honest with you about the time frame at least?

I'd like to point out, these are more observations than complaints, since this is my first experience with Ford. Sorry if they came off that way. My previous vehicles were Hondas. Their service department is notably smaller, which is the reason for the longer wait times, next time I'll get there at 0600 so I beat the wait haha.
Overall I was pleased with the service. Wvweything appears to be done well, everything was clean when returned. And there was no issue with closing out, they already knew about my complimentary services so they just handed me the printout and my key and off I went. For $40, the oil change, inspection, and rotation isn't bad. That's about what I paid for my car, though they did wash it for me. Haven't decided if I'll do the maintenance myself once the free services run out or not. Though I'll only be in this area another 4-5 months.

I always let the Chevy dealer do the oil change on my stingray. I tell them every time, its a Z51 optioned car, with dry sump.
They over fill it. I get home oil come out on garage floor. Call Service manager and send pictures.
Bring the car back, they replace MAF sensor, Air Cleaner, and clean up al the oil, change it again correctly. Give me two free oil change coupons.
I have four free oil change coupons right now, don't think I will ever have to pay of an oil change in that car, 9 quarts Mobil one synthetic.
I am hope when Ford does the change on my truck, they can do better.

Only, it was the same when I went several weeks ago. But I got there 30 minutes after they opened. I figured right at open on a Friday would be better. Doesn't have anything to do with the holiday.
