I got 3 free oil changes when I bought my truck. Made appointments for each one, and was in and out in less than an hour every time. Also no issues that I had to go back for and they checked and filled all fluid levels while they did the oil changes.

At my local ford dealership, the "Quick Lane" is ran by the dealership. I have a friend who works there and he is an employee of flood ford.

"Quick LaneŠ is a registered trademark of Ford Motor Company."

Quick Lane may be a Ford subsidiary and operated by the dealerships but it's not part of the dealerships.

Quick Lane is its own entity and they service all makes and models not just Fords. It's basically just a way for Ford and its dealers to be able to make money outside of the dealerships and from vehicles that aren't made by Ford.

Think of it as Ford's version of a Jiffy Lube, Pepboys or Midas or whatever those are called, except that Quick Lanes are managed by the dealership's franchisee.

The other choice is to change it myself. Everyone I know with a Dry-sump car in my area has issues no mater who they use. Either way over filled or under filled.

I actually don't expect different results. I know it will be done twice to get it right. I know that means the second time I also get an MAF sensor, an Air filter and my engine cleaned

It's 100 for an oil change Mobil 1 synthetic, pus filter.

I would get the same results at Jiffy Lube, or any other quick lube place. Have friends in the club that have it screwed up there. And they do not go threw and correct the issues an over fill causes like oil in the air box, and filter and MAF sensor.

As for Service, I have never had service from and American Car company like I get with Range Rover. Always get a loaner, Range Rover, and mine always comes back washed too. They only do appointments. So when you pull up at say 0800 and give them your car, your loaner is ready to go, no wait. My Wifes Range Rover was Less than my Stingray.

This is my first domestic vehicle. Before I have owned Mazda, Honda, Nissan and Acura. Service for maintenance never took more than two hours and they all required appointments. I think they went quicker because they don't have a lot of cars in for serious repairs so most of the service bays are used for oil changes and such. Very few engine replacements and other complex repairs. Acura gives you loaners for repairs if you ask when you make the appointment and automatically if the car has to stay overnight. And they always wash and vacuum them after service.

One dealership experience on one service does not make a trend.

Bring the car back, they replace MAF sensor, Air Cleaner, and clean up al the oil, change it again correctly. Give me two free oil change coupons.

I have four free oil change coupons right now, don't think I will ever have to pay of an oil change in that car, 9 quarts Mobil one synthetic.

I am hope when Ford does the change on my truck, they can do better.
You did better than me, the idiot "tech" spilled fresh oil all down the side of the engine on my pristine `13 Mustang GT with only 1700+ miles on it. It filled the frame "channels" for lack of a better word. When I parked in the garage, which is on an incline, the oil pooled on the floor. I called the service manager & his response was "Bring it back & we`ll clean it up for you"

While I agree that it shouldn't happen and sucks that it did, what kind of response were you expecting? He acknowledged the issue and was offering to correct it. Maybe he should have offered you a free upgrade to a GT350 would that have been better? Seriously what kind of response were you wanting?

Yeah, I wanted them to give me a GT350R He never mentioned the idiot tech, never apologised nor offered anything, just nonchalantly stated to bring it back for a cleanup like this happens all the time. I won`t take the chance that the same moron might get assigned to touch my car again.
