Finally Built. Hope I got a good deal!
I know there was a huge thread about this but cant seem to find it.
But finally got the window sticker from the factory so pretty excited.
So here in BC I pay 12% tax as well as 1.99% financing for 7 yrs.
20k for 2011 trade-in 15k loan payout. So 5k down.
Payment came down to $647/mo for 84 months after taxes. ($54,348)
I Feel like I got a decent deal.
Opinions? (everything in CAD)

probably pretty good on an ordered truck congrats. I paid 47,000 for my xlt sport 302a package with my extended warranty and maintence package. but it was on the lot and the 17's were about to come out.

Not too bad then. Its the financing and taxes that bring it up so damn much

While the price on the truck isnt bad, paying that much in interest over 7 years makes me want to vomit. The interest will eat up any kind of feel good savings you feel youre getting now.
I would pay off your truck you currently have and traxe it then. You get a sales tax break by getting as much trafe difference as possible.
Or pay it off in a couple years in full. Financing would only cost you in the neighborhood of 1300 bucks thats way.

speaking as a fellow Canadian, seems OK for an ordered truck.
I paid 49 (+ 15% tax) for my 16 Lariat, but it was year end, it was on the lot and it was also sold as a "demo".
Deals are different up here than down there. Fact of life in Canada.

I got 18% off MSRP for my Lariat.
Ford Canada is running 0% financing up to 60 months right now through 31st of March if you can live with the higher payment.
