This makes no sense. If you were to pushing the eco, wouldn't you want the ability to plow? I am confused on the logic here. This year I got a 5.0 because I was on the fence but the 5.0 was a better value. Being from WI, my next truck will be a 5.0 now EVEN IF both the 3.5 eco and 5.0 are the same price.

Also it says OVER 450 lbs for the plow so who knows. Attach a small spreader on the back for weight and this truck would be able to plow like a sonovabitch I'm sure.

I have a Snoway 26 series plow on my 2013 5.0 with EPAS. Zero issues. Plow weighs 471 plus mount. Snoway even has an application for the Ecoboost.

This is it right here. The reason for "no plows on 2011-2014" was because of the EPAS, and power fluctuations possibly causing electric motor overheating/burning out. That's why you could put a plow on a 6.2. But the reason for still "no plow on an ecoboost" is the air flow to the intercooler, as stated before. That info came right from my local truck upfitter.

Snoway was ahead of the pack on this because their design (26 series) allows the necessary airflow to the cooler on the ecoboost. There is a youtube video on this.
