Few Last Questions Before Pulling The Trigger..
#11
The first one was a 3.5 4x4 sport in the other thread. The first was a small dealer, this is a large volume dealer, I questioned the fee, they say it was a standard fee. My mid value on trade on KBB is 18,290, I have requested that on trade in value. Please more info on the SmartVincent?

I would simply DEMAND to see the Sticker that came with the truck to see the true MSRP. Then go from there.
Just because he said it was the standard fee means nothing. Especially if you tell him it's a deal breaker and you're walking. It's simply added profit for the dealer.

I don't miss my old dual climate and I replaced the cloth with leather. XLT Sport that feels every bit as luxurious as my Tahoe LT did. I do love the 36 gallon tank though. That was something I wouldn't have thought about when I was buying.

I would for sure go with the 4x4 with the 3.55 gears. That truck will be worth more on resale down the road. I would personally never own a full size truck without 4x4.
If you ever decide that you want to pull a boat or small camper you may be glad you have the 3.55 gears. No brainer for me.
If you really like the truck and you are getting about 10k off of msrp you are doing alright. You might be able to find one a little cheaper if you really put in the time and homework. But it looks like you are ready to pull the trigger asap. How much is your time worth?
Good Luck!

Tough to decide. You would do well with either I think. Dual zone climate was easy to give up for me... I didn't use it enough to really appreciate it. But heated/cooled seats will be really hard to go without once you've had them. Getting in your truck on those days that are so cold that your body locks up, a heated seat is awesome!
I can offer a perspective of one who has a nearly identical truck to the 2nd of your two choices. It's a 4x4 supercrew XLT with the 2.7 eco and 3.55 rear gearing. Does not have the 36 gal fuel tank, which though I really wanted it, I'm finding the lack of it not too bad. I can go about 500 miles on the 23 gal tank. I justify my smaller tank by telling myself that gas only lasts about 3 months till it starts to go bad, so if I only drive 10 miles or less per day, then I'm really pushing it in regards to the shelf life of the gas in my tank if I have the 36 gal tank.
4x4 is nice, but if you don't use it, then it only adds more weight and complexity to the truck. People have also been having troubles with their transfer cases going bad here on the forum. If you have an e-locker, with patience you can get through 90% of the places a 4x4 is needed. On the other hand, resale value takes a hit without 4x4, as was already mentioned.
Personally, I still would have gone without the 4x4 if I had had a choice between a 2wd with e-locker and 36 gal tank.
That 2wd with 3.31 gearing will get you better fuel economy than a 4x4 with 3.55 gears.

Please post pictures and let us know which way you went!! Best of luck! I couldn't live without the 36 gallon tank FWIW. I love my ingot silver, its a beast!! 4X4 is a must, even if you don't plan on using it, better resale and you will want/need it at least once! Tough choices you have!
