Its nuts how well this thing leaves a stop light and merges on the highway.

It has only been about 6 months, but so far I think it is a big step better than my '12.

Power, torque, and sound of the 5.0. Good gas mileage, Factory 3.73's and 36 gallon tank, Selectshift, Gauge readout like digital trans temp - but wish we had the Wideband A/F read-out like the Mustang. Remote tailgate lock/unlock. Huge storage in center console and Smoother ride than prior years.

My favorite things about my truck are:

36 gallon tank
Storage space/ rear seat room
Paint color
The grey interior (first one, ive always had black)
The long bed
Comfort/ ride quality
Also love the mft and technology in my truck

Favorite things ive added or done:
Removed front air dam
20" chrome pvd rims
Lariat grill replaced stock xlt grill
Black horse running boards replaced stock chrome boards

Im the exception to the majority but i really have had no problems and i have no complaints. My truck is awesome. Love the ecoboost and everything else about my truck. Only problem is three scratches in the paint since i bought it but i know thats gonna happen on any vehicle

Moving from a 2013 XTR SCAB 5.0 to 2016 XLT FX4 SCREW 5.0, here are a list of my favorite things so far:

#1 Spotify AppLink with Sync 3 ... mind blowing. Hoping there are more apps like this coming soon.

#2 Improved bucket seats and telescoping steering, this was the biggest reason for looking at a new truck. Sport Package delivers great ergos without the big jump up to Lariat

#3 Fly by wire throttle improvements. the throttle on the 2013 was mushy and vague. 2016 is precise, so it's very easy to control RPM and speed.

#4 Steering is also more precise so i no longer find myself continuously correcting and adjusting to track a straight line on the highway. feel like this will be even more appreciated when towing.

The more i drive it, the happier I am with the decision to upgrade.

I love the interior, with the ambient lighting and the moonroof it feels upscale. I absolutely love the 5.0l/3.73 combo. Love the LED exterior lighting. Love how much more room I have in the back seat. Trying to get my 2year old daughter in her car seat in the back of my 2013 Ram was frustrating. I smashed her head off the ceiling way to many times. The Ford feels like a limo! Overall I am 100% happy with my truck. Owned it since Nov and haven't had any issues

What's better when compared to 2014 F150 XLT 3.5 ecoboost I owned vs 2015 F150 XLT FX4 2.7 ecoboost now (so basically XLT to XLT comparison):

1. Sport mode
2. 2.7L V6 ecoboost twin turbo
3. Nimbler handling due to lighter weight
4. Better braking due to lighter weight
5. LED lighting inside the bed
6. Lockable/removable tied down inside bed
7. Nicer interior
8. 400W inverter on front and rear
9. Less issues that required dealer service
10. ~10% improvement on MPG
11. Auto stop/start feature
12. Remote start
13. Seat heater
14. Captain's center console with big shifter ****.

Even though is a simple addition, I love the dead pedal on the floor....FINALLY!!

I traded my '14 for my '15 and happy I did it. Other things I like:

Dash layout
Seats (especially with 2 dogs)
Auto Lock tailgate
Seat heaters
Auto up feature on the front windows
Muuuuch better look of the front end

You know, when I first got my 2010 F150, I immediately noticed there was no dead pedal. I had a 2007 Tundra prior to that which had it and I really missed it on my 2010.

I am so glad that Ford has added it to the F150. Like you say, it's a simple thing, but makes a huge difference to me for driving comfort.

I'm glad this thread is here as I have a Lariat on order right now and I'm getting freaked out reading all the problems people are having. It's great to hear also from those who are happy with their trucks. It helps balance things out a bit.

I haven't bought yet but honestly I've been waiting on a product that's worth being in debt for!!! My 2003 heritage is an awesome truck that has never had a real issue now at 180k. Just the typical coil packs lol. But this new truck is not a truck.

1. It's a drag race machine. (Compared to mine)
2. It's quiet. ""
3. It's beautiful ""
4. It's ride is awesome. ""
5. Gets HUGE mpg better. ""
6. Tows double mine
7. And the tech is just exactly what I would want.

I haven't had a car payment in in years. This ones worth getting a payment book again. And when the 17 rolls out I will get one. That second gen 3.5 ecoboost is calling my name.
