I wouldnt touch an SSI tune if it were free. Google Shawn Ellis the owner of Southern Speed, he's been blowing up motors for years, not just Ecoboost either.

I've used SSi tunes from Shawn Ellis for the past 6 years on 3 different trucks without any issues. When you use any high performance tune from "any" tuner, you have to make sure you keep up on routine maintenance. Oil changes, proper plugs with specific gaps, and with 2011 to 2014 3.5 EB.....make sure your map sensors are clean.

12.8 at 105, that's pretty good for just a tune.

Back in my high-school days I had a '69 Chevelle with a 427 big block, 396 open chamber heads, two 4-barrel carbs and a muncie 4 speed with 4.11 gears that would BARELY crack 11 seconds consistently. ( I once dropped just under 10.99 when I tried a supercharger, but I was concerned the compression was too high, so I switched back). I imagine that engine in one of these trucks would clock times in the 12s...

yes, a Chevelle is a heavy car, but nothing compared to these trucks... amazing that a 165 cubic inch (2.7L) V6 can get similar numbers to that 427 c.i. (7.0 Liter!) . Technology proves that there Might Just Be a replacement for Displacement.
