Default Advice Appreciated-Discount Tire "House" Tires

I'm posting in this thread because I have a 2020 STX and would like to hear from those who have Gen 13 trucks.

Earlier this morning, I visited our local Discount Tire dealer to purchase a set of AT tires for my truck. While they didn't have what I wanted in stock, the service advisor recommended three "house brand/version" AT tires they had in stock.

- Pathfinder AT (house version of Hankook Dynapro AT)
- Cooper ATP (house version of Discoverer AT)
- Goodyear Ultraterrain ( house version of Duratrac)

I admittedly had never heard of, much less seen, any of the three recommended tires, and I told the advisor i'd think through it over the weekend and return next week after making a decision. If anyone here runs either of the three tires on a Gen 13 truck, particularly on 20 inch wheels, I would greatly appreciate any feedback you can provide me. I'm currently running the stock Michelin LTX MS/2's (275/55/20), and they are great in any conditions on road. After 2500 miles however, I have found them to be severely lacking in even the mildest off road conditions--wet grass, gravel/dirt roads. Normally I swap my stock tires out for Firestone/Bridgestone AT's, but my local Firestone dealer won't install any of their AT's because my stock tires are rated 113H, and they don't have an H rated AT tire (yes, I realize its asinine that they do this--but its their policy, and I cant force them otherwise). My original intention at Discount Tire was to get a set of Destination AT or Revo 3's, but the price difference on their house brands is too tempting to ignore.

I appreciate any feedback on the matter or suggestions otherwise! If you have a Gen 13 and are running stock size or 275/60/20 and would like to recommend a tire, i'm all ears. I've never had a truck with anything other than 17s so this is somewhat new for me.

I had their Ultraterrain on my 2016 and loved them. They wore really well handled great in snow and off roading. Sounded fine on pavement. I would put them on another truck in a heart beat.

They are made on the exact same assembly line. They are just given a different name and sold only by Discount Tire. No reason not to consider them.

I went with Nitto Terra Grappler G2 275/55/20 on my 2019, far superior to the goodyear with kevlar AT that came on it. $211 per tire, I went with the certificates since I do offroading in sand etc where you cannot always see hazards. total drive out was $1154

I would look into any of those any day, they are made by the same people. I have had Falken Wildpeak M/T tires and they were amazing in the snow and mud. I will probably end up going with A/Ts of the same brand when I upgrade again. What kind of driving do you do?

I have the Discoverer ATP's and love them. My dad at the AT3 in his F150. Primarily road for me, but no issues at all. I also like the square shoulder compared to the rounded shoulder on AT3, and they were a couple hundred bucks cheaper

I had the AT3's and I live on gravel and they got ate up pretty quick, rounded edges in the grooves from the gravel.

Here's an upclose shot of mine. They are the Cooper ATP's in a 275/65/20. I've had multiple sets of these on 3 different trucks throughout the years and may very well never buy a different set. I always get 50 thousand plus miles out of them, their 10 ply's so puncture resistance is great up in the hills and hey they look pretty decent too. They also weigh less and cost less than most at tires out there. I hope this helps.
